Top 5 Business Apps on iOS in Central America Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw varying trends in the performance of the top 5 business apps on the iOS platform in Central America. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads, active users, and revenue based on data from Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 47.5K in late September and dropping to around 21K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw a notable decrease, from 850.6K at the beginning of the quarter to 228.3K by the end. Revenue for this period remained at zero.

Google Meet (original) had a similar downward trend in downloads, beginning at 39.1K in late September and falling to approximately 15.5K by the end of December. Active users decreased from 540.4K to 122.3K over the same period. Like Zoom Workplace, Google Meet reported no revenue for the quarter.

Microsoft Teams maintained a relatively stable download rate initially but saw a drop from 25.9K in late September to 10.4K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 635.4K and dropping to 252K. Revenue remained at zero throughout the quarter.

WhatsApp Business showed more stability compared to other apps. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at 19.6K in early November and ending the quarter at around 15.5K. Active users remained relatively steady, starting at 256.6K and closing at 290.2K. There was no revenue reported during this period.

Finally, Adobe Acrobat Reader: Edit PDF saw a consistent download rate at the start, with 14K in late September, but experienced a decline to about 5.9K by the end of December. Weekly revenue showed slight fluctuations, peaking at approximately $14.7K in mid-December. Active users remained fairly stable, starting at 389.6K and ending at 333.6K.
